Mind+Body+Soul+ Beyond

Find your path forward, past the pain,

and into joy and peace.

I know from personal experience that trauma isn’t just something intense that happens in the past– it is an experience of the present moment that can feel dark, disorienting, and downright terrifying. I’ve come through it, and now as a psychotherapist, I have the privilege of helping others come through it too.

I invite you into a safe space that together we make sacred. In our work, I invite you to slow down and consider how trauma might actually be a catalyst to profound transformation, expansion, and fearless living. Although our work together will not always feel comfortable, you will be safe, and you will be genuinely and deeply cared for.

We all have an inherent ability to heal. I have the training as a somatic psychotherapist, mental health counselor, and yoga/meditation teacher, and in our work guide you to that part of yourself that knows the way forward. Together, we can ignite the changes that will transform your inner and outer worlds so you come to embody the joy that is your birthright.

I have been providing counseling for fifteen years and have had the joy of living in Asia and Europe - as a result, I have had the opportunity to connect with such beautifully diverse individuals from all over the world. While living and traversing the intricate landscapes of the mind, body, and soul we can get lost. But when you have the right counselor beside you, it is possible that you can find yourself in an even better place than you had originally imagined.

We focus on deep integration of the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of well-being and co-create a process that works for your unique situation. This may involve integrating the most effective evidence-based psychotherapies available today, KAP, PAP, and ancient practices from yoga, Ayurveda, and other nature-based traditions.

The result is a life of authenticity and purpose that feels sweet, joyful, and abundant.

Specialties

Trauma Therapy

Trauma is the response to experiences where your sense of safety feels threatened and you're left feeling broken, helpless, and voiceless. Trauma is almost always an underlying cause of various mental health conditions. Unhealed trauma can show up as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, personality or mood disorders, codependency, physical illness, and other symptoms. I help you change your life and gently heal your trauma by processing shame, and guilt.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy emphasizes the mind-body connection, believing that unprocessed emotions and past experiences can manifest as physical tension or discomfort. By focusing on bodily sensations and utilizing techniques like breathwork and movement, this therapy aims to increase awareness of these stored emotions and facilitate their release. This approach can be particularly helpful for individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, or even chronic pain, as it addresses both the mental and physical aspects of their struggles.

Integrative Therapy

KAP is a holistic therapeutic modality used as a complement to psychotherapy to help eligible patients experience more frequent breakthroughs and sustained improvement in symptoms. It is a legal, safe, and effective therapy used to treat a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and PTSD. It has rapidly-acting,  mood-enhancing effects, which can begin to take effect within 1-2 hours after treatment and last for up to 2 weeks. It works by helping form new positive connections in our brains that regulate stress and mood.
